Elizabeth Dinning comes to Marks Education with thirteen years of professional experience in a variety of educational settings. She specializes in helping students meet the demands of a college-preparatory curriculum. Elizabeth has worked with middle-school and high-school students both in the U.S. and in South Korea, including many in need of intensive academic support.
She has tutored privately in a wide range of subjects, planned and taught summer courses for college-bound students, and worked with English language learners to improve their speaking and writing skills. In addition, she has created test-preparation materials for writing and English literature tests and designed enrichment programs for advanced students.
Elizabeth prides herself on her abilities to form lasting bonds with her students and to help them find and appreciate their individual voices and strengths. She enjoys supporting her students to develop the skills and confidence that will prepare them for their own academic success.
Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where she earned a degree in English and Anthropology with Honors in English.
