Marks Education will guide you through the college transfer admission process. Transferring to a new college presents a completely different set of requirements and challenges from the typical first-year admission process. Transfer students are faced with a greater variety of admission deadlines, fluctuating admit rates from year to year, and more complex application components and admission essays.
Our advisors help guide and empower students one-on-one through every part of the transfer application process, including:
- Choosing appropriately challenging classes
- Selecting extracurriculars and summer plans that fit your individual profile
- Building your college list
- Creating a timeline for submitting your applications and supporting materials
- Identifying best recommenders to complete the Professor Report and Dean’s Report
- Brainstorming, editing, and reviewing all your application essays
- Providing a comprehensive, detailed review of your applications
Comprehensive Package
(up to 25 hours of application strategy and essay support.)
We will provide comprehensive, strategic, and structured support for you throughout the application process. As this process can be confusing, we assist students in using forward planning to avoid avoidable stress in the tracking of different deadlines and application requirements. As a team, we confer weekly to discuss the best practices for our individual clients, so you know you have the guidance and wisdom of your dedicated counselor (and the entire team) behind you.
Fee: $12,500 for a Counselor for the July 2026-June 2027 contract year.
Limited Package
(Up to 10 hours of application strategy and essay support.)
Work one-on-one with a dedicated advisors and receive tailored support for application materials including essays and activities lists, critical opportunities for students to showcase their backgrounds, interests, and passions. The service typically begins with a one-hour meeting to analyze the student’s current priorities and create a strategic application approach; however, the 10 hours can be tailored to your needs. You will also receive backup support and knowledge from the entire team; we confer weekly to discuss the best practices for our individual clients.
Fee: $5,250 for a Counselor for the July 2026-June 2027 contract year.
Hourly Consulting
Work one-on-one with one of our advisors for advice and consultation, including up to 15 minutes of complimentary meeting preparation time (document review, research, etc.). Consulting is useful for college students who need advice for a few targeted concerns with their transfer application process. Hourly consulting provides you with just the service you need, when you need it.
Fee: $525/hour for a Counselor for the July 2026-June 2027 contract year.
