The Wall Street Journal recently published an article about college entrance exams in South Korea. Students are both helped by others – including unlikely individuals like police officers – and pressured to succeed in ways that are very different from here in the United States. The all-day test they take certainly helps us put our relatively shorter SAT and ACT tests in perspective.

What are the main sources of pressure and help for students in the United States?
