Aparna grew up in the DMV, like so many others at Marks.  She went to the IB program at Richard Montgomery High School and completed her BA in Biochemistry at Swarthmore College.  She finished her studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore where she earned both her MD and her PhD.  Currently, Aparna is based in Boston where she works in science and technology innovation.  Throughout her career, Aparna has trained and mentored a number of students in STEM.  She brings this experience to tutoring students for the MCAT by encouraging rigorous practice and strategy-building through self reflection.
