Robert Clark is a Senior Counselor and Director of Counseling Services. He joined Marks Education in 2014 after spending nine years in college admissions at Georgetown University and Eckerd College. Robert’s experience serving on college admissions and college transfer committees allows him to be an informed resource in making smart education and college application decisions. Robert understands how an admissions officer reads an application and supports students to present themselves authentically and shine during the admission process.
Robert works with students who have a variety of profiles and interests and leads the team’s work with transfer students and athletic recruits. He closely monitors admissions trends and data and keeps the counseling team informed on athletic recruitment issues. Staying on top of trends in the field is central to his work, and he provides a data-driven, friendly and steady viewpoint to demystify college admissions and make the process manageable for students and their families.
Robert enjoys fly fishing and cooking for his family. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the auxiliary of the United States Air Force, for many years and shared his admissions expertise with students from military families on a pro bono basis, making presentations at military bases.
Robert is an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC). Based in Colorado, he works with students virtually.
