Marks Education offers web-based and in-person test prep and academic tutoring services for almost all U.S. standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, SSAT, HSPT, and ISEE. We tutor for most academic subjects, and we also advise students on study skills.
We customize our approach to each student’s needs, using a baseline test to deconstruct strengths and weaknesses. Over a free 30-minute consult, we then lay out a plan to achieve the maximum score improvement in the least possible amount of time.
On average, our students see us for a total of 13-17 tutoring sessions, which take them through up to two administrations of a standardized test. This compares with 30-50 sessions recommended by many of our competitors. Our students leave each tutoring session feeling happier and more confident than when they came in. They achieve verified industry leading score improvements on every test we tutor.
Since 2006, we have used Skype tutoring, Google Hangout tutoring, FaceTime tutoring and interactive whiteboards to tutor students across the United States, in 18 different countries, and for seven top-notch schools and educational non-profits.

We get the best results.
On average, our students improved 340 points on the SAT over the past seven years, measured from official PSATs. Our improvements on the ACT were even greater, and score improvements on other tests were just as strong. Every student who has had at least six sessions is included in our statistics; please review our results and methodology.
We have the most satisfied clients.
On our client satisfaction surveys, 97 to 100% of our respondents say they are happy with every aspect of our work, from our mastery of the material to our relationships with our students. This includes students at all levels, from around the world, and with a variety of learning styles.
We use the most carefully designed test prep materials.
We use proprietary, custom-designed materials for each test we tutor. Our Marks Prep books, our vocabulary and reading resources, and our practice tests teach both the most efficient strategies for each student and the content of each test we tutor.
Every year we track our students’ improvement across tests. Click here find the SAT and ACT improvement data, listed by year, for students who finished standardized testing in a particular year.
Marks Education works with students with a very wide range of incoming scores, and we are very proud of the improvements made by all of our students, even by those who came to us already scoring in the range for National Merit awards on the PSAT. We are also proud of the fact that we calculate our improvement only from official College Board and ACT tests, not tests that we manufacture.
Marks Education Tutoring results are achieved by working closely with parents and students. Tips on what to eat before a test, or how much sleep should you get before you take a test? We care about your success!
To our knowledge, no other test prep company has achieved consistent, verifiable average improvements of this caliber.
